BOIL TMS WELL WATER BEFORE DRINKING
by QAZ

Boil the TMS well water before drinking. The recent
setback in the water supply rate (2 1/2 gallons per minute
compared to 8 gpm) may be caused by a leak in the pipe near
the smoking area, from heavy equipment running over that
area. The water we are currently getting may be contaminated
by substances which have leaked into the pipe. It may be
unsafe to drink and it is advisable to boil the water before
drinking.

LITHUANIA ASKS SOVIETS TO TALKS ON SECESSION
by Uter Q. Werty

Lithuania's president invited Kremlin officials to talks
on secession from the Soviet Union, saying that Lithuania
wants gradual, not immediate, full independence.
     Lithuanian President Vytautas Landsbergis told
legislators that officials face "political difficulties" in
dealing with their March 11 declaration of independence.
"We did not expect ... power to be handed over the very
next day ... and did not count upon it." Landsbergis said.

TAX RIOT IN ENGLAND VIEWED AS THATCHER'S END
by Feekie O. Gloops

A tax riot last Saturday in London may be the beginning
of Margaret Thatcher's end as Prime Minister of England.
Saturday's riots in Trafalgar Square over a new per-capita
poll tax (meaning millionaire's would pay the same amount as
a low-wage earner) started with 40,000 protestors, but
clearly led by 3,000 anarchists, far-left activists and
street thugs.
Even before Saturday Thatcher was 24 percentage points
behind her main oppositions, the Labor Party.
